I wasn’t failing because I wasn’t smart enough or didn’t work hard enough. I was failing because I was taught WHAT to think instead of HOW to think.
The turning point came when I discovered the Color personality system. Yellow, blue, green, red. This was the game changer. I realized that business success requires personal growth first. That people skills matter more than technical skills.

My Story: From Quitter to Mentor
I’m a green personality by nature — detail-oriented, focused, introverted. I immigrated from Guatemala at 14, learning English from scratch. Nearly died as an infant. Struggled with insecurity about my appearance and self-worth for years.
After multiple failed business attempts and financial struggles, I walked away from business altogether. But then I found a community of bloggers who introduced me to something that changed everything.
I learned about the Color personality system from Michael Dlouhy, a blue personality and relationship builder, and Rory Ricord, a green personality and marketing expert. I discovered that I needed to grow as a person before I could grow a business.
Today, I’m still an auto painter by trade. I’m married almost 20 years with one daughter in her last year of high school. I’m active in my church worship ministry, playing multiple instruments. And I mentor people online who want to build a home-based business the right way.
I’m no longer a quitter. And I can help you stop quitting too.
