We Love to Buy, We Hate being Sold (Emotions vs Logical Thinking.)
When we look at the image at the top of the middle line, we have colors yellow and blue. These colors share the characteristic of having open communication. Feelings are a thing for them.
When we look at the Image at the bottom of the middle line we have colors green and red. Now, they share the characteristic of Closed communication. Logical Thinking works better for them.
Note:
- Open will tend to over-share their personal life passions. (They are people person and feel comfortable sharing with others)
- Self-contained will share tasks oriented passions (They are not people person and like to be left alone)
Let’s keep it simple for now, that’s how we want it. but, once we have all the pieces of the puzzle we’ll see THE BIG PICTURE. your Super Power.
My mentor Rory is a GREEN personality and he really cares about people, we said greens think in a very logical way.I wanted to create a program (task related) that will help families” (Rory R)
His priority is sharing wealth, then love. The system he built has been working successfully for years.
Rory’s wife Tanya, she’s a Yellow personality and if you ask her, she loves to be around people but mostly family and Friends.
Her priority is sharing love then wealth. The community she helped Rory build is her driving force.
Rory’s Logical thinking got him to create a program to help families
This means that even though greens are not guided by feelings, but logical thinking. They are still humans and will care for others.
In his book, Marketing is Freedom Chapter 7 Rory writes about this. ‘Emotions Are a Luxury We Cannot Afford”. Our Buying habits, come from emotions.
Rory’s Ultimate Goal for you in chapter 7:
Build financial strength through patient, logical decisions rather than emotional ones.
Once you achieve financial security, you can actually enjoy emotions more because they come with the “silver lining of freedom” rather than the stress of being financially strapped.
As you can see he wants you to be succesful, don’t Fear because Fear is a negative emotion. Use Logical Thinking and do what makes sense for you and your family.
Let’s review this lesson
My Mentor Rory is a green Personality. It means he is a logical thinker. Nevertheless he is a successful person working with a big community of people around him.
He is not open (feelings) but he cares for families. (He is self-contained about his feelings)
Rory’s Wife Tanya is a Yellow Personality. She loves to share her feelings with other people and loves family and friends. She goes with her feelings and is able to complement Rory with her Nurturing emotions.
They both enjoy emotions now, because they are financially stable. They enjoy helping others because they want others to feel what they feel. Being Financially Free.
Finally, don’t make buying decisions with your emotions, wait for tomorrow and make a better logical decision. What’s best for you and your family.
