Today I want to talk about one word. A word we all love to hear. A word that stops us in our tracks every single time we see it. That word is free.
Now, free can mean a lot of things. In our community, there are things we genuinely offer for free, real services, real value, no tricks. There is also a partnership with advertisers where they give you a stipend of $750 a month in return for your time and presence in the community.
I am part of it. I applied, I did the work to get approved, and that check comes every month. They say it runs for a minimum of six months, and it can go longer if needed. That idea of it going on, that excites me. But even just six months? That is something.

Think about it this way. You go to work to bring money home for your family. And to do that, you have to pay something. A car payment. A bus fare. A tank of gas. You spend to earn. That is not a scam, that is just life. The price is always there. The question is whether what you get back is worth it.
For the advertiser program? I had to sit down at my computer and go through all the requirements to get approved. That was work. Real work. And yes, that took time. And time is money. So even “free money” asked something of me first. And I made the choice that it was worth it.

Now let me tell you about the other thing I want to share, and this one really lights me up.

Each color has its own strengths, its own way of seeing the world, and its own way of connecting with others. When you know someone’s color, you know how to reach them. You know how to reduce tension, break the ice, and have real conversations.
It doesn’t cost anything to learn it. And it can change everything.
I have been sharing this for years. At family parties. With co-workers. Whenever I have a conversation with someone and I can feel the color coming through , I think about it. I notice it. And quietly it helps me connect better, listen more, and show up stronger.
My daughter? she is a blue. I taught it to her little by little over the years, the way you teach things that matter. Then one day she came home from school and said, “I was noticing people’s colors today…” and she went on and on telling me about her observations. I did not expect that. She caught me off guard completely. And I will be honest with you, that moment? That hit different. Because I was not there. I did not tell her what to say or what to do. She had taken it and made it her own.
That is what this system does. Once you really learn it, it just becomes part of how you see the world.
This is as Free as it gets
A lot of people walk around every day without much excitement in their life. I see it. Maybe you feel it too sometimes. And I am not saying this color system is the only answer.
But here is what I know.
We will always have people in our lives. Children. Partners. Co-workers. Strangers we need to deal with. You cannot grow without dealing with people. And if you can understand people better, everything gets easier.

Would you want that for them? I did. And I gave it to my daughter. Not because I had to. Because I wanted her to have something real.
